PU HOSES

Polyurethane combines the finest of both plastic and rubber qualities. Abrasion and tear resistance, strong tensile and elongation values, and a low compression set are all features of this material. Polyurethane is a naturally flexible material with nearly limitless flexural properties. Polyurethane distinguishes itself from most other thermoplastics by combining outstanding chemical resistance with excellent weathering qualities. PU tubing and hose, also known as PU tubing and hose, offers remarkable resistance to most gasoline, oils, kerosene, and other petroleum-based compounds, making it an ideal choice for fuel lines (however additives in today’s gasoline and petroleum products necessitate field testing).

There are some significant distinctions between the two fundamental urethane formulations, ester and ether. The physical qualities of ester-based urethane are significantly reduced when exposed to water. Hydrolysis stability of ether urethane is significantly superior, especially in humid settings. Ether-based materials also outperform ester-based materials in terms of fungal resistance.
